T-shirt size guide

All tees are the Gildan 5000. Measure first — satisfaction starts with the right dimensions.

Every t-shirt sold on The Providence Forge is the Gildan 5000 Unisex Classic Tee. Please read this chart and compare it to a shirt you already own before you place an order. Made-to-order tees cannot be returned for change of mind or a size that does not fit. Checking these dimensions is the surest way to be satisfied with what arrives.

The blank we use

All tees on this site are the Gildan 5000 Unisex Classic Tee. It is a regular, unisex cut with a structured heavyweight feel (about 5.0–5.3 oz/yd²). It is not a slim fashion tee and it is not a women’s cut. Sizes run S through 5XL.

  • 100% cotton on most colors (heathers and Sport Grey include polyester)
  • Classic / regular fit, tubular construction
  • Taped neck and shoulders; double-needle sleeve and bottom hem

Before you order

Shirts are made after you buy them. A wrong size is not a defect. To be satisfied with the order:

  • Lay a favorite t-shirt flat and measure length, width, and sleeve using the method below
  • Match those numbers to the chart — do not rely on the letter size you wear from another brand
  • If you want a closer fit, consider sizing down; for a roomier streetwear drape, stay true or size up

How to measure

Measure a garment, not your body. Lay the shirt flat, smooth it out, and use a tape. Width is a flat measurement (seam to seam). Double the width for an approximate chest circumference.

A

Length

Place the tape beside the collar at the top of the tee (highest point of the shoulder). Pull straight down to the bottom hem.

B

Width

Place the tape at the seam under one sleeve and pull it across the chest to the seam under the opposite sleeve.

C

Sleeve length

Start at the center back of the collar. Follow the top seam over the shoulder and down the sleeve to the hem.

Fit notes

  • This is a unisex, classic fit — straighter through the body than a slim tee.
  • There is no extra-small. The smallest adult size is S.
  • Cotton can tighten a little after the first wash and dry. Follow the care label; hang-dry if you want to keep the length.
  • Screen mockups are a preview. Print placement can shift slightly in production; that is not a sizing error.

Because each tee is made to order, we do not accept returns for change of mind or for a size that does not fit once you have chosen it. Please use this chart first.
